De vuelta/Just Returned

Bueno, solo avisando que regresé antes de la fecha que tenía pautada, de modo que reanudare ahora mismo mis proyectos pendientes. Espero que hayan pasado una feliz Navidad; y que esten preparandose para recibir al año nuevo mañana.

Solo me pasaba para anunciar que me ire de vacaciones desde mañana hasta el 2 de Enero. Por lo tanto, me temo que todos mis proyectos quedaran parados hasta mi regreso; y del mismo modo, no estaré por aqui para las fiestas, así que por adelantado, les deseo una Feliz Navidad y un prospero año nuevo.

Just passing by to announce that I'll be going on a holiday trip from tomorrow to January 2th. Bueno, solo tenia que añadir que la semana pasada me llegaron los últimos encargos que realicé por este año, entre ellos cierto material de traducción de Ar tonelico que estaba esperando./Well, I just had to add that last week, I got the last orders I made for this year, among them being some Ar tonelico translation material I was waiting for.

Primero, los dos primeros juegos de la saga Popolocrois: Popolocrois Monogatari y Poporogue. Con esto ya tengo la trilogia completa de PS1/First, the first two games of the Popolocrois saga: Popolocrois Monogatari and Poporogue. This completes the PS1 trilogy in my personal collection. 

Y lo segundo, los Hymmnos Musicals de Claire y Spica, con su Hymmnocase y la tarjeta postal de Spica./And second, the Hymmnos Musicals for Claire and Spica, with their Hymmnocase and the Spica postcard.


Bueno, con esto ya tengo otro material raro de Ar tonelico y crecio un poco mi coleccion de Popolocrois. Luego proseguire con las traducciones de Hoshizora Ensemble./And with this, I have gotten more of the rare materials from Ar tonelico and my Popolocrois collection grew a little. Un par de cosas nuevas/A couple new things

Bueno, una no es tan nueva porque la tengo desde hace ya casi un mes, pero pensé que no estaría de más mencionarla./Well, one isn't so new since I've got it since around a month ago, but I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea mentioning it.

Este es el primero: el disco instrumental extra de Hanakisou, el cual solo fue dado a aquellos que preordenaron la versión original de PC hace ya casi diez años. Podríamos decir que es tan raro como horizon blue, Kurenawi y el Director's Cut Soundtrack de Hanakisou, pero extrañamente, su precio no llega a los niveles absurdos de los otros tres. Esto también reduce el número de albumes de Akiko Shikata que nos faltan en la discografía a uno: el CD de orgel que fue regalado en su concierto de Laylania, el cual tuvo lugar el año pasado./This is the first one: the instrumental Hanakisou Extra CD, which was only given to those who preordered the original PC version almost ten years ago. We could say that it's every bit as rare as horizon blue, Kurenawi and the Hanakisou Director's Cut Soundtrack, but oddly enough, its pricing doesn't reach the absurd levels of the other three. Además, en Noviembre tenemos otro release de Haruka: un best album llamado Omoi no Concerto; y además, el release en DVD de su concierto FEL FEARY WEL, centrado en Griotte no Nemurihime y Koboreru Suna no ARIA, que tuvo lugar el 30 de Junio pasado.

Y terminando con las canciones vocales de larga duración (aún quedan las instrumentales con voces), aquí tenemos la canción que podríamos decir es la más larga de toda Tindharia. Básicamente, es un cuento de hadas que Citra creó en honor a los cristales de Griotte luego del final de la historia, aunque la novia mencionada en la letra fue basada en otra persona... (que aunque nunca lo dicen directamente, estoy seguro de que se refieren a Rosa). Sólo les adelanto de una vez que la historia es bastante triste; y los retazos de la melodía principal de Griotte no Nemurihime que se escuchan al final de la misma sólo amplifican más aún esa sensación.

Bueno, siguiendo con las canciones bonus de Griotte, aquí tenemos la que vino en el Drama CD del segundo volumen del manga. Cronológicamente esta ubicada entre Ohime-sama to Doukeshi y Madara no Kuni; y es una creación de Citra que fue interpretada por ella junto a Lyle y Vold. La letra esta basada en el encuentro que ella y Lyle tuvieron con un anciano que vivia completamente solo en las ruinas de Cardamon, añorando los días en los que aún tenía a su familia a su lado.

Letra - Kanata e no Tabiji

Bueno, finalmente publicando las letras de las canciones bonus de Griotte no Nemurihime, he aquí la primera. Cronólogicamente, está ubicada entre Erabareta Tami y Ohime-sama to Doukeshi; y muestra lo que pasó con Lyle y Citra después de los incidentes que tuvieron lugar en la Aldea Rhubarb: los caballeros negros intentaron llevarse por las malas la partitura de la Canción de la Vida; y al no poder conseguirlo, usaron un cristal de Griotte con una canción de Rosa sellada dentro, la cual servía para invocar Nails (monstruos creados por la distorsión en los principios) y la usaron para desatar un caos en la aldea. Un amigo de Lyle y Citra, Elfin, trató de proteger a Citra y evitar que los caballeros se la llevaran, pero desafortunadamente, lo único que consiguió fue que lo mataran.

Al ver que los aldeanos y la abuela de Citra, Marta, que también era la líder actual de Rhubarb, no querían creer que Elfin había sido asesinado por uno de los caballeros, Lyle decidió partir al Reino de Foeniclum y buscar al responsable para vengarse. Como podrán ver, esta canción demuestra la partida de Lyle de la aldea, mientras FERIA (el Espíritu de la Luna) lo observa desde el cielo; y Citra no logra decidir si seguirlo o quedarse en la aldea.

Si que he estado ausente ultimamente, ¿no?
Perdonen que haya dejado las traducciones de las canciones de Tindharia no Kanade pospuestas por tanto tiempo, luego me encargaré de publicarlas. Por ahora, sin embargo, he aquí las últimas cosas que me han llegado:

Y aquí tenemos el album Tsukioi no Toshi -Plus Edition- de tieLeaf (Haruka), que aunque no se puede apreciar muy bien, trajo en su nuevo booklet las traducciones para las líneas en Lag-Quara que estaban como desconocidas para Hitomi wo Tsugumono y Seishou (las cuales ya me tomé la libertad de traducir y añadir a sus respectivas entradas)./And here we have the Tsukioi no Toshi -Plus Edition- album from tieLeaf (Haruka), and while it can't be seen very well here, its renewed booklet also included translations for the unknown Lag-Quara lines fom Hitomi wo Tsugumono and Seishou (which I've already taken the liberty to translate and add to their respective entries).

Y cerrando Laylania, tenemos aquí el tema para la OVA Kono Danshi, Uchuujin to Tatakaemasu. ~Bokura no Sekai no Mamorigata~ (hablando de un título largo...). Realmente no tengo idea de que trata la OVA, pero la canción es un buen cierre para el album, hermosa, nostálgica; y a pesar de que no se parecen mucho, me da sensaciones similares a la versión de Sorriso grabada en Navigatoria.

Y continuando con Laylania, aquí tenemos la canción imagen de Ciel nosurge, el cual también es conocido como el sucesor espiritual (y precuela lejana) de Ar tonelico. He escuchado a muchos diciendo que tiene un estilo coral mezclado con música tradicional japonesa, aunque personalmente me parece que tiene más influencia china que japonesa.

De paso sea dicho, también es una versión vocal del ending que se escucha al final del primer capítulo de Ciel nosurge, con la salvedad de que empieza a volverse vocal a partir del segundo caítulo y cada capítulo añade una línea más de la letra hasta que se canta la canción completa al final del doceavo capítulo, con el séptimo capítulo siendo la excepción debido a que se usa una pista instrumental en su lugar. Además de que las primeras líneas son exactamente iguales a las usadas en el opening (謳無き丘へ/Utanaki Oka e/To the Songless Hill/A la Colina Sin Canciones).

Sip, como pueden ver, utilizan varias frases que eran claves en el mundo de Ar Ciel: Colina Cantante y Nayudara, lo cual solidifica el hecho de que ambas sagas toman lugar en el mismo universo: el universo de EXA_PICO, aunque en planetas muy distantes el uno del otro. Y claro, el lenguaje empleado aquí no es Hymmnos: se llama Keihansoukaishi (Emotional Song Pact/Pacto de Canciones Emocionales).

Letra - Kaze wa Harukana Ashita wo Shiru

Bueno, en contraste con las canciones previas, esta tiene un estilo más a lo árabe; y de hecho, me recordó bastante a Harukanaru Tabiji la primera vez que lo escuche. De hecho, después de las canciones estilo cute, jazz y demás que estaban previamente, esta es un agradable regreso al estilo étnico al que Akiko nos tiene acostumbrados. También debo añadir que esta canción va a ser usada como el tema de cierre definitivo para las OVAs de Tales of Symphonia.

Y ahora la segunda cancion de Laylania. Estilísticamente podriamos decir que es como una version mas retorcida de algunos de los segmentos de VII, dado el número de distorsiones y efectos de sonido extraños que se escuchan en ella, aunque no es realmente aterradora, solo es rara.

Como mencioné anteriormente, ahora siguen las traducciones para el álbum Laylania de Akiko Shikata. Digamos que el álbum se sale un poco de su estilo habitual, aunque eso no lo hace malo: de hecho, pensé que no me gustaría en absoluto cuando escuché las samples, pero me alegra haberme equivocado.

La primera canción también es el track titular; y realmente muestra que se puede esperar de él, dado el estilo circo con jazz y musica lírica que la canción lleva.
